The babies of the wild dog are born in lairs. The pregnancy lasts 70 days. Usually the mother gives birth to 7 babys. They suck milk from their mother for about 100 days after they are born. They begin to feed themselfs with meet very early. Their parents help them eat the meet by chewing the food for them.
The mother stays to keep her children and the others bring her food. The whole pack helps with the rising of the offspring. When the mother is gone her functions are taken by other female from the pack.
