Babies of an ostrich

The ostrich lives in a families. One family consists of one male ostrich and up to three females. Every female lays from 3 to 8 eggs in commonly nest. The nest is scooped in the ground.

Ostriches hatches the eggs for 46 days. The eggs are laid in different days but the ostrich move them so that they can hatch together. The first two months the little ones are brown with dark spots and very bristly.
