The duration of the pregnancy longs about 3 months. The female leopard gives birth to 3 to 5 little leopards, which begin to see after 10 days. The little ones learn from their mother how to swim, to climb, to hunt and how to protect themselfs from other predators. The mother takes care of her children until they become four years old, after that they are on their own.
