Leopard

The leopard also called panther belongs to the cat family and inhabits mainly Afrika and east and south of Asia. He can be met in quiet mountains with small rivers and natural places to cover himself. Sometimes he can be seen in plains near to a mountain.

This predator, this animal has long and slim body with short, strong legs and long tail. His body reaches lenght of 1.8 meters and his tail - 1.1 meters. His height is about 80cm and his weight is 75 kg. His fur is bright, on black spots. This fur makes him almost invisible in the savanna. The leopard is a loner, he climbs very well on trees, where he can sleep and feed calmly. His duration of live is 23 years.
